Fizzy drinks are the work of modern alchemists. To unleash the magic, simply pull the tab on the can to activate carbon dioxide within and enjoy a kinetic and flavourful experience. ​This artwork taps that memory to recreate the sensory experience. Bubbles made from aluminium can cut-outs dance within a shaken can and burst out in a spray of pull tabs against a collage of newsprint tear-outs. Lines of black stitching push the image in and heighten the sense of drama.
